Is Dahak one syllable or two ?

My son maintains it is one and the h is silent.

For what little it's worth, when Dahak was used as a Big Bad in the
Hercules TV show, it was pronounced "DAY-hock".

Dave Van Domelen, not sure there exists a major mythology that was
visited by neither Herc nor Xena....

Its from Persian Zahhak, which had various spellings and
pronunciations, but generally would indicate "Dah-hayk". I don't know
where the emphasis lies, however.

If you're referring to the central command computer of the
Imperial ship-of-the-line /Dahak/, then it's two syllables.
